My toddlers had a great experience with Dr. Sandhu today. The whole team at Airis Eye was patient, kind, and did an *exceptional* job keeping things light and fun for us. They have a beautiful office, and a wonderful play room for the kiddos with toys, puzzles, books and stuffies. We briefly looked at their selection of glasses, which looked very nice, although I can’t speak to price. The kid glasses were colorful and adorable. I am so pleased and will schedule my next exam there too. Thank you!

Wow, what a pathetic AI generated response. Just flowery language without why substance whatever. If you notice, they didn’t dispute anything I said, simply repeated what I said lol.
Anyway, I had a terrible experience and I shared it here so it can help others make better decisions.

First of all, it’s extremely hard to get a time slot that works with this office — the doctors are always fully booked. I had to rearrange nearly 10 different things just to make the only appointment they offered.
Then, just a few hours before the appointment, I received a broadcast text saying the office was closed due to an emergency. I reached out explaining I had taken the day off and my child missed school for this visit, and only then was I told the doctor had a family emergency. I completely understand emergencies happen.
They then offered a late-evening appointment with another doctor. I rearranged everything again — only to get another text saying the doctor would be late and I should contact a different office. At that point I said I would just wait for their availability because I didn’t want to start over elsewhere.
After several days with no updates, I followed up and was given one appointment the following week. I asked to move it by just 30 minutes and was told that was the only possible time. That’s when I finally gave up.
I’m sure the doctors themselves are good, and I truly understand family emergencies happen. But the scheduling and communication here are the worst I have ever experienced. I genuinely regret choosing this office — my child would have already received care by now if we had gone somewhere else.

Owner response
Your review does not accurately reflect the care and scheduling options that were provided. Our office made multiple documented attempts to accommodate your child within the specific time constraints you requested.
When an unexpected physician family emergency occurred, you were notified promptly and were offered a same-day appointment with another physician, as well as additional options for timely evaluation. A follow-up appointment the following week was also offered. When these options did not align with your personal scheduling preferences and no further adjustments were possible, you elected not to proceed.
We understand that frustration can lead to public reviews; however, it is important to recognize that inaccurate statements can have real and lasting consequences for a medical practice and its staff. We ask that the same fairness, accuracy, and understanding be extended to healthcare providers, particularly during genuine medical and family emergencies.
